Listen to the instruction Jesus gives his disciples in the gospel! They went out with confidence to preach as Jesus directed. Those instructions are meant for us, his current day disciples. Let us take seriously the fact that we are sent to bring “good news.” Rely on the words that St. Paul says in the second reading, “God has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing.” Jesus gives us what we need, so let’s get going!
