Our gospel today recounts the story of Jesus’ baptism and the important words spoken by God about Jesus, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” Imagine God saying these words to you, “You are my beloved. with you I am well pleased.” Take some time this week to think about the meaning of your baptism and the graces that have come from God through that once in a lifetime sacrament.
