In today’s Gospel, Simeon and Anna make a startling prediction about Jesus and the life that awaits him. Mary and Joseph hold in their hearts all that they hear and remain faithful to all that God has asked of them as parents. In celebrating this feast we pray that the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph will be a model of faithful love for all Christian families.
