  • Teaching Mass with Fr. Matt Williams

    Thursday Jan 25, 2018 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

    You're Invited

Who: Catholics of every age, their families & friends
    What: 7 PM Mass
    When: Thursday, January 25th
    Where: St. Patrick's Parish, Stoneham
Why: Our faith is a gift; let's open it together

What's with the smells and the bells at Mass?

Even faithful Catholics who attend Mass regularly don't always understand the significance of the gestures, prayers, and sacred objects used during the liturgy. If you've ever wondered why Mass feels like a workout (stand, sit, stand, kneel!) and why we burn incense & ring the bells, please join us for a Teaching Mass.

On Thursday January 25th at 7PM Fr. Matt Williams, charismatic teacher and Director of Faith Formation for Youth and Young Adults, will celebrate Mass here St. Patrick's Parish. Fr. Matt is known for his dynamic preaching in Life Ministries, and he will help us to discover how Catholics use all five senses to experience God in worship. You will leave with a greater appreciation of why do we do what we do at Mass.

Sponsored by St. Patrick's Religious Education and the Archdiocesan Office of Lifelong Faith Formation. All are welcome!

For more information contact Anne Dooley at stpatreled@parishmail.com.
