Our Lady’s in Lynnfield (lower church) 9:45-11:30 am This course taught by Nina Pension will introduce, in a group setting, a form of prayer which originated with St. Ignatius of Loyola. “Gospel Contemplation” involves approaching Jesus in a particular Gospel story with grace-filled receptivity of mind and heart. St Ignatius wanted his companions “to find God in all things,” or as Pope Francis says “To see things as the Lord does, to be where the Lord wants us to be.” Five Friday mornings: January 18 - February 15 (9:45 – 11:30) Course fee: $25 per person/ $40 per married couple Money should not be an obstacle to the study of the Word of God. The St. Patrick School Student Council will be hosting an e-device help session from 1:00 - 2:30 pm on Friday, January 18th in Our Lady of Providence Hall co-sponsored by the Stoneham Senior Center. Our middle school students look forward to assisting seniors with how to use or explore what's possible with a smart phone, laptop, or tablet (iPad, etc.). Corn Hole Tournament at St. Patrick's!

Healing Service with Deacon Joe Cooley

The Healing Mass series will continue this month with an Adoration Service led by Deacon Joe Cooley on Wednesday January 9th at 7:30 pm in the lower church. The topic is marital sexuality and will cover Natural Family Planning and Infertility. Healing Prayer will be available, and refreshments and fellowship will follow the service. Fr. Jürgen will be attending to his wife following her surgery this month, so please keep them in your prayers.

The St. Patrick School PTO is sponsoring a "blind draw, double-elimination" Corn Hole Tournament on the evening of January 18th in Our Lady of Providence Hall. Registration begins at 6:30 pm and the first bag will be thrown at 7:30 pm. There will be prizes and raffles. All are welcome (21+)! Tickets are $35 for players and $15 for spectators and includes light dinner and snacks. A cash bar will be available and all proceeds from the event benefit St. Patrick School.
