    DIVORCECARE is a 13-week program of healing and support for those who have experienced divorce. The next series begins on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 7:00pm in the Msgr. McGann Conference Room (off the parking lot) at Saint Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester.
    Each week there is a video presentation on the challenges that divorced people face, followed by a discussion and prayer. The sessions last approximately 90 minutes. The cost for a workbook and materials is $15. If you would like to attend, please call Marge McGlone at 617 633-8967.
    Divorce is extremely painful. We hope the DIVORCECARE will aid the healing process.

    WORKSHOP ON VISITING THE SICK
    Wednesdays, March 8 to April 12, 2017

    A workshop on Pastoral Care to the Sick and the Homebound will be offered at Saint Patrick Parish in Stoneham from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Dr. Mary Beth Moran, a certified chaplain, will teach the course.

    The workshop will include a review of communication skills, the basics of pastoral visitation, key illness issues, spiritual needs and concerns, grief, loss and dying and caregiving issues. Eucharistic ministers, pastoral visitors, parish nurses and others are encouraged to attend. The fee for the workshop is $40.     The Five Love Languages-- Quality Time, Acts of Service, Physical Touch, Affirming Words, and Gift Giving – are the life-giving ways human beings communicate love to each other. Each person has a primary love language; we will explore how this awareness helps us to love people in a way which is most meaningful to them. We will meditate on the power of the love languages as they are seen in the ministry of Jesus. Especially helpful for parents and grandparents.

    Course fee: $25 per person/ $40 per married couple
    Money should not be an obstacle to the study of the Word of God. If this is the case, you are invited to come free of charge or make a small donation.

    HEALING MASS TO BREAK ADDICTION

    Wednesday, March 15th at 7:30pm at St.
    Patrick Parish in the lower Church

    Responding to the current state of addiction (opioids and all other addictions) in our area, Fr. Jurgen Liias will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the specific intention of breaking addiction. We will tackle this enemy using the power of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the intercession of Our Lady of The Inexhaustible Cup. Come and learn about this ancient icon and its addiction breaking history and pray before the replica of the icon which was recently donated to St. Patrick Parish. Following Mass, healing teams will be available to pray for you and for specific needs. Fr. Liias will be available to hear confessions. Coffee and refreshments will follow in the Parish Council Room. Come, bring your loved ones and join us in this important endeavor.

    Saint Eulalia Parish, Winchester, is offering a Bereavement Support Group which will meet in the Parish Center off the parking lot for six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM beginning March 21st and continuing through April 25th. Topics will include an overview of the bereavement process, signs and symptoms of grief, feelings associated with bereavement, and the uniqueness of each person’s grief. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences with one another in a caring and supportive atmosphere. We have limited space, so pre-registration is required by March 18th.     Mike Clemente, who is working on his Eagle Project, will be hosting a Coffee Fundraiser following the 8:00am, 10:00am and 12:00 Noon masses on Sunday, March 26th.

    His Eagle Project will consist of making cubbies for the teen room in the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham. The cubbies will provide the teens a place to store their coats and bags in their own space. They currently share a coat room during the school year with the younger kids ranging from ages 7-11.
