Sunday Apr 23, 2017 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Divine Mercy Sunday,
First Sunday After Easter
Jesus I Trust in You!
The first Sunday following Easter is called Divine Mercy Sunday and that phrase is the touchstone of the day. On that day, any person who will “go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment” (Faustina Diary 699). Those words are Jesus’ promise shared to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, an early 20th century Polish nun canonized by Pope St. John Paul II.
On April 23, 2017, from 1:00 - 5:00pm St. Patrick Parish will celebrate this tremendous gift of Divine Mercy with the following events:
* 1:00pm Talk on Divine Mercy
* 1:30pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
* Confession
* 3:00pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary
* 5:00pm Benediction
Stop in for awhile and visit our Lord! Bring your family and friends! Receive the graces of Jesus’ promise!
