Divine Mercy Sunday Events
Sunday Apr 28, 2019 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Jesus I Trust in You! The first Sunday following Easter is called Divine Mercy Sunday and that phrase is the touchstone of the day. On that day, any person who will “go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment” (Faustina Diary 699). Those words are Jesus’ promise shared to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, an early 20th century Polish nun canonized by Pope St. John Paul II.
Beginning at 1:30 pm on April 28, 2019, upper Church, St. Patrick will celebrate this tremendous gift of Divine Mercy with the following events:
1:30 pm ~ Worship on Divine Mercy
1:45 pm ~ Reflection & Adoration
2:15 pm ~ Confessions
3:00 pm ~ Divine Mercy Chaplet
5:00 pm ~ Benediction
Stop in for awhile and visit our Lord! Bring your family and friends! Receive the graces of Jesus’ promise!
