Palm Sunday Message

Palm Sunday Hosanna To The King Of KingsDear Church,

Your Clergy and your parish staff at Saint Patrick's pray this message finds you and your families in good health during these difficult times. It is in times like these, we realize how important our faith and our sacramental life truly is for us. Yet it is also in times like these, for the safety of all our parishioners both young and old, that difficult decisions need to be made for everyone's safety. With Middlesex County being the hardest hit in Massachusetts our church will remain closed for the time being. For that reason, I want you to know that private Masses are still being said daily at 11:30 a.m. and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary are being said each day at 3:00 p.m. Also, each day we expose the Blessed Sacrament in Our Lady of Providence hall (facing the side parking lot) from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Church, all of you are in the heart of our prayers during these difficult days.

Until that time when we are able to celebrate together physically, I encourage you join us in spirit during the times listed above as well as to watch Mass on Boston Catholic TV and receive the Spiritual Communion that is offered there finding solace in knowing you are still in communion with your church and your God.

Recently we have been informed by the Archdiocese of Boston that the distribution of Palms, Holy Week, the Triduum, and Easter will not be celebrated publicly. Though this may be painful to hear, please join us spiritually during this time as we pray for one another and for God's protection. In addition, I ask you to please remember that in the best of times we are completely dependent on your generosity. Without Sunday Masses and the offertory, it has become exceedingly difficult to make ends meet. If it is within your means, I prayerfully ask you to remember us by mailing in your offertory or signing up for online giving which can be found here on the Parish website. Again, please know of our prayers in these difficult times as we ask you to remember us in yours!
