The Israelites in today’s scripture are grumbling and complaining to God. There are many things people find to grumble about – the weather, the news, even Pastoral Planning. Just as God sent manna to feed the Israelites, He sent His Son Jesus to save us and feed us always. Make it a practice this week not to give in to grumbling. Instead, take comfort in Jesus’ words “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”
