Listen closely to today’s gospel. It is as if we are eavesdropping on Jesus at prayer. Take note, he is praying for us! He is asking God to protect us, to keep us from the evil one and to be consecrated in the truth. We can be confident that God hears the prayer of Christ, it is up to us to take this prayer to heart. To do that, take some quiet time today to listen again to Jesus prayer for you and then speak to Jesus from your heart.
