“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.” These words from today’s scripture are once again words of encouragement and comfort. We know what it is like to rely on God and to place before him all our cares and worries and to experience peace in his presence. As Christ’s disciples, offer words of reassurance to a person you know who is worried or anxious.
