IMPORTANT UPDATE: DIFFICULT DECISION
Monday, March 23, 2020
We write today to share the difficult news that the Church will be closed until further notice. Based on mandates from the Centers for Disease Control, Governor Baker's Emergency Order for public safety, as well as Archdiocesan regulations, the health and well-being of our parishioners and our community must be a top priority.
Since this news is fresh, we can continue to be in community with each other and we can celebrate our Lord’s Passion and Resurrection without being together in one place by choosing a time when we can pray together for there is no distance in prayer. One way of staying in community is to pray the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Each day Father Frank and I privately celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 11:30 a.m. for your intentions as well as those for whom a Mass has already been booked. We hope, if you are able, to find a quiet space and join us spiritually at this time as well as at 3:00 p.m. each day to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary.
We will all get through this period of severe chastisement with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us!
