1 Contemplating Christ
Our Lady’s in Lynnfield (lower church) 9:45-11:30 am This course taught by Nina Pension will introduce, in a group setting, a form of prayer which originated with St. Ignatius of Loyola. “Gospel Contemplation” involves approaching Jesus in a particular Gospel story with grace-filled receptivity of mind and heart. St Ignatius wanted his companions “to find God in all things,” or as Pope Francis says “To see things as the Lord does, to be where the Lord wants us to be.” Five Friday mornings: January 18 - February 15 (9:45 – 11:30) Course fee: $25 per person/ $40 per married couple Money should not be an obstacle to the study of the Word of God. Sunday, February 10 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm The Cutter Gallery at 611 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington The photographs being sold were taken by members of St. Patrick Ecological Awareness Group and their friends and relatives to benefit the St. Patrick Parish Food Group and St. Vincent de Paul Society. The Food Group sponsors a monthly community dinner where the guests receive a delicious well balanced complimentary meal and the opportunity to share some fellowship. St. Vincent de Paul serves the needy with respect, justice, hope and joy, by providing food, and assisting with expenses. Please come and support these very worthy ministries. Saint Patrick Parish Ecological Awareness Group will be hosting a month-long Art Exhibit Fundraiser to benefit Saint Patrick’s Food Group and St. Vincent de Paul ministries. The opening reception is Sunday, February 10 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Cutter Gallery at 611 Mass Ave., Arlington.

Perhot, Director of Refugee and Immigration Services for Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Boston to offer a presentation on refugees and immigrants. She will focus on why the Catholic Church is committed to serving refugees, migrants and immigrants, Catholic teaching regrading migration, and services available from Catholic Charities. The topic is marital sexuality and will cover Healing from Sexual Addiction and Pornography. Healing Prayer will be available, and refreshments and fellowship will follow mass. All are invited.
