Saint Florence Parish 47 Butler Avenue, Wakefield
“This story of an impossible healing will not only stay with you for a very long time, but challenge you to be the person God called you to be.” Join us as Artie Boyle shares his inspiring story with us. He was given 6 months to live because of terminal cander. After his pilgrimage to Medjugorje, he was found to be miraculously healed when he returned home to Boston. Francis James Mcgovern, M.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital said: “With the severity and progression of Artie’s disease, metastatic renal cell carcinoma, it is difficult for medical science to explain why he is alive today. But, every time I see him, I am sure there is a God. This story proves there is always hope. I am a believer.” Hingham resident Arthur P. “Artie” Boyle is a Dorchester native, and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Judy, for 47 years. They have 13 wonderful children and 24 grandchildren. He’s been a successful businessman, amateur hockey player and coach. Perhaps most telling of his character, though, it that he is a man of deep faith - a practicing, devout Catholic. For more information visit: www.stflorenceparish.org/artie-boyle | 27 | 28 | ||||||

May 15 ~ 10:00 am Mass
Please join us in singing the entrance hymn as our First Communicants crown our Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of the Angels, and Queen of the May.
Bring Flowers of the Rarest
Bring flowers of the fairest,
Bring flowers of the rarest,
From garden and woodland
And hillside and vale;
Our full hearts are swelling,
Our glad voices telling
The praise of the loveliest
Rose of the vale.
O Mary! We crown thee
With blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels,
Queen of the May,
O Mary! We crown thee
With blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels
Queen of the May.
