    The St. John the Baptist Organ Society is pleased to invite you to join us for the second concert of our 2023 Series.


    Rosalind Mohnsen, will present an hour-long excursion through Boston, New England, the United States and beyond. Currently the Director of Music and Organist at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden, Ms. Monhsen has performed extensively both nationally and internationally.


    This series is supported in part by a grant from the Peabody Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass. Cultural Council, a state agency. A reception will follow the concert. Free will donations are appreciated. Our Church is handicap accessible. All are welcome.

    Grief can be a challenging and painful experience and often the one who is grieving feels isolated – that no one understands what they are going through. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, consider joining our 6-week grief support group where you may find healing through the experience of being with others who are also encountering loss.


    We will explore the grieving process and consider the spiritual elements of grief and healing grounded in Christian hope.

    The 31st Annual Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 15th, at The Weston Golf Club. This premier charity event is held to benefit the educational program for the seminarians. Tuition covers only half the cost of educating a seminarian and the proceeds from this tournament will help bridge the gap and keep the cost of educating them affordable. The $250 player entry includes lunch at Weston Golf Club, 18 holes of golf with cart, and door prizes; followed by a social hour, silent auction and dinner for each golfer and a guest at the seminary.   • St Patrick Sponsored Stoneham Community Dinner

    Every Tuesday a delicious and nutritious meal is served to the guests at the Community Dinner. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation.

    The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month.

    If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. If the Stoneham Public Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the dinners are cancelled for the evening.

    You Are Forgiven“Forgiven – The Transforming Power of Confession” is a 5-week adult faith formation program developed and produced by the Augustine Institute. The Woburn Catholic Collaborative of St. Anthony of Padua and St. Barbara Parishes is offering this program on 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, & 6/20 @ 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Father Anadore Hall at St. Barbara Church. The cost is $25 which will include a study guide.
