4-Week Virtual Grief Support Group

Losing a loved one and grieving during this time of pandemic can be very challenging and painful. Connecting with others who share a similar experience of grieving amid the difficulties of social distancing can provide comfort and support.
If you are grieving a loss, please join our Grief Support Group this spring to connect with others virtually on Wednesday evenings during June. Together, we will explore the grieving process and consider the spiritual elements of grief and healing grounded in Christian hope. For more information, please call Patrice Fitzpatrick at 781-438-0200. You will need a computer, a tablet, or a smart phone that has a camera in order to participate in these virtual meetings. This technology is easy to use and we can assist you in getting started.
If you are not comfortable using this technology, our Grief Drop-In Meetings on the first Monday of each month offer phone-in attendance. Please call for more information. There is no charge for participating in these groups, which are sponsored by the McDonald- Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham.

Every Tuesday a delicious and nutritious meal is served to the guests at the Community Dinner. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation.
The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month.
If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. If the Stoneham Public Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the dinners are cancelled for the evening.
