  • All Night Eucharistic Vigil

    MonstranceThis month, the all-night Eucharistic vigil
    will be held at St Patrick Church,
    71 Central Street, Stoneham


    This vigil is in reparation and atonement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This vigil will mark the 50th Anniversary of these vigils. The vigil will begin with Mass of the Sacred Heart celebrated by Fr. Joe Keville at 9:00 pm. The intention of this vigil is in gratitude to God and all the Cardinals, Bishops and Priests of this archdiocese and for those attending and supporting this apostolate. A special mention of the PILOT newspaper which supported this apostolate for 50 years. During this Mass a relic of the True Cross, and relic of the beatified Carlo Acutis will be offered to the people attending.


    During the coffee break, the exhibit of Eucharistic miracles, video of “Veil Removed”, and the Carlo Acutis film will be shown. During the evening there will be religious exercises as recitation of the rosaries, stations of the cross, etc. The Pilgrim Virgin Statue and the Cloak of St. Joseph will also be displayed. Reading material pertaining to the Eucharist will be available and refreshments will be served throughout the night. The vigil will end at 5:00 am. with Mass of the Immaculate Heart of Mary celebrated by Fr. Mario Orrigo, Pastor of this beautiful church. Refreshments will be served throughout the night.     The Reading Knights of Columbus and the Reading Catholic Community Sanctity of Life Ministry are raising funds to support the Pregnancy Care Center and Your Options Medical – two organizations that directly support Life in serving expectant families in need.


    Registration is the day of the event and a two mile walk around Reading Center begins at 9:00 AM. Please join us at our Council parking lot and donate on Walk day or online at https://gofund.me/9769bb68.

    Every Tuesday a delicious and nutritious meal is served to the guests at the Community Dinner. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation.

    The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month.

    If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. If the Stoneham Public Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the dinners are cancelled for the evening.
