    The prayer community will meet again, after our summer vacation. COME JOIN US on Wednesday, September 5th in the lower Church at 7:30 pm to praise our Lord in word and song, listen to Scripture and a short teaching, have silent time to listen to the our Lord speak to us, pray for individual needs and healing followed by warm fellowship over coffee & refreshments.     All parish employees and volunteers in the Archdiocese of Boston are required to participate in the Protecting God's Children program. If you work with youth or the elderly in our parish, you plan to volunteer at Saint Patrick School, with Religious Education, as a Pastoral Visitor, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, or Musician, or with another parish ministry, and you have not yet completed this program, please join us for the following workshop:

  • St. Eulalia 6-Week Grief Support Group

    Tuesday Sep 11, 2018 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

    St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, is offering a Bereavement Support Group which will meet in McCarthy Hall (there is ample parking in the front, church lot.) for six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm beginning September 11th, 2018 and continuing through October 16, 2018.

    Topics will include an overview of the bereavement process, signs and symptoms of grief, feelings associated with bereavement, and the uniqueness of each person’s grief experience. Participants will have the opportunity to share their stories with one another in a caring and supportive atmosphere.

    Since we have limited space, please pre-register by Tuesday, September 4th. There is no fee, but a voluntary donation to cover the cost of materials is appreciated. To register for the group or to obtain further information, please call Barbara Mahoney, Pastoral Care Coordinator, at 781-729 8220, ext. 16.

    Located in Weston, Massachusetts, Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary is hosting its 37th Annual Lawn Party on Wednesday, September 26th, at 6:00 pm, on the grounds of the seminary. This premiere fundraising event is hosted by His Eminence, Seán Cardinal O’Malley, OFM Cap. The evening will include a reception and dinner with music. Located on Route 30 in Weston, the seminary prepares second career candidates, men over the age of 30, for priesthood. The proceeds from the Lawn Party help to keep tuition costs affordable.   • National Friends of the Poor® Walk

    Join us for a one-mile walk up and down Main Street in Stoneham to support local families in need. The cost to register is $10 and all proceeds go directly to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Saint Patrick Parish.
