Healing Mass, Bible Study and Adoration Mass of Remembrance
Please join us on Thursday, November 2 for the Mass of Remembrance to pray for the repose of the souls of all who have died over the past year and whose birth-to-new-life was celebrated at Saint Patrick Parish. On this commemoration of the Feast of All Souls, when the Church remembers all the faithful departed, we of Saint Patrick Parish will remember our own beloved dead. As we pray together, we will announce the names of those who were buried from this parish over the past year, and pray for all whose names are inscribed in the Book of Remembrance. Refreshments to follow in Our Lady of Providence Hall following the Mass. All are welcome! | 3 | 4 | |||

Miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion and the death of an infant are tragic, painful losses that many people carry in their hearts. Loved ones and friends often do not understand how to help console us in our grief. Focusing on the spirituality of our loss can bring consolation. Christ offers us His strength and hope in the promise of the Resurrection. When we gather in prayer, our very presence can provide comfort to one another, some of whom may otherwise suffer in silence. Please join us on Wednesday, November 8th, at 7:00 pm in the Lower Church for a service of remembrance and healing for anyone — parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, friend — who is grieving the loss of a pregnancy or the death of an infant. All adults are welcome. Please R.S.V.P.to Diane McCarthy, Pastoral Associate, at 781-438-0200 or [email protected]. | 9 Thursday Evenings with Jesus

26 | 27 Rejoice! - An Advent Pilgrimage
Advent is a special season for the Church. It is the time when the world prepares to celebrate the coming of Christ. We often lose sight of the point of this season because we get so caught up in our preparations, and we find ourselves no more transformed on Christmas Day than we were at the start of Advent. A way that our parish is seeking to prepare for Jesus’ birth and experience true transformation in this hectic but blessed season is by engaging in a new program from Ascension. This program is Rejoice! An Advent Pilgrimage into the Heart of Scripture, Year B. This year, we will explore the Sunday Mass readings through daily reflections, prayer, and journaling, with weekly prayer videos presented by Fr. Mark Toups and his friends Sr. Josephine Garrett and Fr. Josh Johnson. We will meet on Monday, November 27th and the first three Wednesdays in December - 6th, 13th and 20th - from 7 – 8 pm in the Parish Pastoral Council Room. There is a journal that goes along with the program for a cost of $10. Space is limited to 20 participants. Please contact Diane McCarthy at 781-438-0200 or [email protected] to register if you would like to join in this special time of preparation for the birth of Christ at Christmas. | 28 Separated and Divorced Support Group
