    Is living with a persistent health condition preventing you from really living?


    Join us for a FREE six-session community workshop designed to give adults with chronic conditions (such as arthritis, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, asthma) and/or their caregivers the knowledge and skills needed to take a more active role in their healthcare.


    Learn strategies developed and tested by researchers including ways to:


    • use exercises for maintaining and imrpoving strength, flexibility and endurance
    • use techniques that can improve your quality of life
    • communicate effectively with family, friends and health professionals
    • manage frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation
    • evaluate new treatment
    • use medication and nutrition appropriately


    When: Group 1: Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. from July 21-August 25

  • St Patrick Sponsored Stoneham Community Dinner

    1 Church Street, Stoneham

    Every Tuesday a delicious and nutritious meal is served to the guests at the Community Dinner. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation.

    The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month.

    If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. If the Stoneham Public Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the dinners are cancelled for the evening.

You will need a computer, a tablet, or a smart phone that has a camera in order to participate in these virtual meetings. This technology is easy to use and we can assist you in getting started.
