An Afternoon of Prayer
Until COVID 19 took over, Maryann made her way weekly to the Detention Center at South Bay in Boston where 90 immigrant men were in holding space awaiting a decision about their future. These men spoke many different languages but longed for a human face of Hope as they struggled to make a new life for themselves and their families. Maryann responded to the invitation to speak of Joseph because he too, as an immigrant, was without home or welcome. Suggested Donation: $20 There will be time for personal reflection, prayer and sharing in a safe and congenial environment. Come 15 minutes early for refreshments.

Michael McNamara St. Catherine of Siena Church 7:00 PM Speaker After volunteering to lead the campaign in Madison, Wisconsin, Steve successfully led the fight against opening a late-term abortion center on the campus of his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation. The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month. If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. Maryann Enright, CSJ
S. Maryann Enright has been a Sister of St. Joseph since 1958. She served a number of years as Teacher and Dean of Students at Fontbonne Academy, nearly two decades with the Office of Spiritual Development followed by a term in leadership within the Congregation. Service to incarcerated women and men has woven through these and other ministries for most of her religious life.
