"The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” We know all too well the reality of Jesus’ words from today’s gospel. The number of priests and lay leaders is at a crisis point. By virtue of our baptism, we are sent out as “laborers for his harvest.” How will you respond to Jesus’ words, “Go on your way. . . I am sending you. . .”? Pray for the grace to be a courageous disciple!
