A holiday weekend in New England is, of itself, a good reason to give thanks. Think beyond this colorful world God gives us. Recall those times when God carried you through a difficult time of sickness, death of a loved one, employment concerns, or even just a difficult day. Recall the lepers in today’s gospel. All were made clean, but only one expressed gratitude. Take a moment today to thank God for the many times you were carried/ comforted through life’s difficulties.
