  • 100th Anniversary of Fatima Rosary Rally

    Saturday Oct 14, 2017 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Please join us on the Town Common for a public Rosary Rally. Our nation is in great need of public prayer, repentance and conversion. In the historic year of the Fatima Centennial (1917-2017), we ask God to save America through the Rosary of His Most Holy Mother.

10 Reasons to Pray a Public Rosary

    1. This year is the 100th anniversary of the miracle of the sun, witnessed by 70,000 people on October 13, 1917
    2. Reach fallen away Catholics
    3. Public prayer gets results
    4. Be a Fatima apostle
    5. Public sins require public reparation
    6. Will the media promote Fatima? Never! It’s up to us to promote devotion to Mary “outside the choir”
    7. Public Rosaries have been successful in history
    8. Duty to honor God publicly
    9. Preparing for Our Lady’s triumph
    10. Public prayer is powerful!

Please join us in praying for our nation on October 14, 2017 at 12:00 noon. The Rosary Rally will take place on the Town Common near the Main Street entrance. (Rain date October 15th)

We are looking for volunteers to help hold banners, pray the rosary and to hand out information. Please contact Elaine Arangio at 781-233-2922 or Alana Arangio at 781-279-4672 for more information.

  • Training Workshop for Healing Prayer

    Saturday Oct 21, 2017 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Led by Fr. Jurgen Liias and Deacon Joe Cooley

Jesus said to his disciples: "Lay your hands on the sick and they shall be healed." Mark 16:18b

One of the exciting parts of the New Evangelization is the renewed emphasis in the church on the ministry of spiritual healing. Do you have an interest in healing through prayer? Would you like to learn how to minister more effectively in the domain of healing and deliverance? Would you like to see prayer for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing as a more visible and available part of the ministry of St. Patrick's Church?

Deacon Joe and I, with Fr. Mario's blessing, would like to train lay people for this work with the hope that Prayer ministry might be available after all our weekend masses.

If you are at all interested in growing this work with us, please join us for this workshop. Feel free as well to contact either of us for further information @ 781-438-0960.

    ~Fr. Jurgen

  • Palliative Care, isn’t that Hospice?

    Saturday Oct 28, 2017 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM

Palliative Care is often misunderstood. It is, at times, thought to be exclusively for dying patients or for people who are in hospice care at the end of their lives. But Palliative Care is a model of care that greatly benefits anyone, at any time, who is diagnosed with a serious illness.

To learn more, please join us for a look at Palliative Care and Advance Care Planning on:

Saturday, October 28 at 5:15 pm
    Our Lady of Providence Hall
    Refreshments will be provided.

For planning purposes, please RSVP to Patrice Fitzpatrick at 781-438-0200.
