St. Patrick Parish will hold a training session in person on September 14th, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The dinner is for our neighbors and friends who would benefit from a good meal and friendly conversation. The meals are sponsored by local churches and businesses, so there is no charge. Saint Patrick Parish’s Food Group ministry sponsors the third Tuesday of each month. If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner, please join us. The dinner is served at 5:45 pm. Developed and produced by Ascension Press, this Eight-week bible study was filmed on location in the Holy Land and is narrated by Dr. Edward Sri. It will place you in the midst of the powerful drama of Mary’s earthly life, taking you through her joys and her sorrows. You will learn how she works in our lives today, drawing us ever closer to her divine Son. The study will be facilitated by Deacon Ed Giordano and held in St. Barbara Parish lower church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn, in weekly sessions from September 27 through November 15 at 7:00 pm. The cost is $30 which includes the workbook and access to the videos and online workbook for one year. Online registration can be found at www.woburncatholic.org. Mission of Deeds is sponsoring a Family Fun Cornhole Tournament at Lake Quannapowitt on Sunday, September 18. Adults will be competing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and there will be kid’s cornhole boards, too, in addition to a DJ, hot popcorn, cold water and novelties from the Cool Cow ice cream truck. Pope St John XXIII Lawn Party

Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary in Weston is hosting its 41st Annual Lawn Party on Wednesday, September 28th, at 6:00 P.M, on the grounds of the seminary. This premiere fundraising event is hosted by His Eminence, Seán Cardinal O’Malley, OFM Cap. The evening will include a reception and dinner with music. Located on Route 30 in Weston, the Seminary prepares second career candidates, men over the age of 30, for priesthood. The proceeds from the Lawn Party help to keep tuition costs affordable.
